At the end of radio silence...

There are days when I wonder if I am living inside a married-dual-career version of a "Sex and the City" episode. Where it's not so difficult to become so embedded in a project, travel, or in training a puppy to not bark at the neighbor that two months fly by without a worthy check-in.

I'm sitting here in Nikes - not Manolo Blahniks, calling upon the graciousness of my readers to restore faith in my ability to hinge the distance. I'm here. All is well. And if you're reading this, you haven't removed me from your bookmarks.

For that, I am grateful.

And just to relieve any grand anticipation of what kinds of things have kept me from writing...sailing the Baltic, climbing Elbrus, or chasing buffalo in Sudan...I have only been busy living.

Thanks for checking in! I'm glad you're here.

Don't you worry pretty lady. Nobody worth their salt is going anywhere. You just keep doing your thing and we'll keep checking in.
